nowadays u’ll be hard pressed to find me at the cinema watching a show because i don’t watch it on weekends (costs too much) and on the other days its just too stressful to rush to the theatre just for a show… the last movie i remembered watching was ‘lust, caution’ and that was because it’s rated r(a) and i know that when the dvd is released…. u’ll just not get the full experience…

so the only other way of getting me to the movies is to have a really good show on… or pay for my ticket… which was wat my colleagues and i got yesterday… we were encouraged to go catch the movie ‘iron man’ and to look out for the ‘general coolness’ plus all the ui etc etc in the movie… and so we went… and boy did i enjoy every minute of the show!

granted that i din have any expectations of the show, hving not read any of the comics… the show was truly enjoyable and totally a geek/gadget fest… in the sort of way that’s different frm ur james bond movies… all the gadgetry (except for the beautiful, beautiful audi r8) were rendered and animated in such detail that u can’t help but be totally amazed at it… i was very impressed…

plus the show wasn’t all serious action… it had alot of funny and witty lines and scenes (esp those when tony stark tests out parts of his suit in the workshop… lol!!) robert downey jr. was amazing (i think this could hv just revived his movie career!), gwyenth paltrow was good in her role as ‘pepper pots’… and it was a good way to er… relax at the start of the week.. ahahha

if you hvn’t watch the movie… don’t hesitate… go catch the show! (and remember to stay when the credits start rolling!)
