went to the first Singapore Toy and Comic Convention over the weekend. all i can say is that i managed to control my spending… hehehehe and managed to get my dreams of meeting up with my fav designer fufilled!! To the MAX!! LOL… don’t think i’ll ever forget this experience ever… =D

at this moment i’m thinking of changing the blog’s look again coz if you scroll down… u’ll see that i have a LONG list of links which could potentially get longer… geez…

this week’s been a bit low-key compared to the previous week… but here’s what i did…

(somewhat) finished up my tokidoki cactus collection with the addition of bastardino (green) and polpettina (pink)… polpettina is the pet doggie of my tokidoki sabochan character… now i need to look for the green cactus girl!! >_<

my friend had her birthday party yesterday at her home… it was fairy themed and i can tell u its darn hard to find costumes or stuff related to fairies without feeling like a 3 year old kid… i ended up buying wands and fluff frm spotlight and gluing them together (wif the help of babe) to make it look more ‘adult-like’…

dinner at her place was just filled wif alot of pink (as seen in the photos…) but it was a great dinner… many compliments to her family for that… it was the kind of party you wished you had organized urself… of course it didn’t hurt that her place was pretty big so had room to do a proper sit-down western dinner kinda thing…

apparently it’s coming out in time for valentine’s day…. (which could be quite possible coz juz need to repackage the two already produced toys… hee hee…) be patient!! >_<

after a week of sitting in the box.. sabochan graciously posed for a few photos which you can view on my flickr set… =) she’s got such an attitude to her! very different from mozzarella… hehehe… ‘watcha lookin’ at dude?!’

i went to the gym on saturday intending to go for bodyjam and den yoga classes only to find out that they were having special classes on that day so end up doing half of the bodyjam class and bodybalance class instead of yoga… bodyjam was quite fun… will try to go for that the next time i go down on saturday… yoga is of course a staple.. hee

bought a few lingerie items over the weekend… did some clearing up of the computer table… watched a bit of tv… it was a quiet weekend… babe’s in reservist now so spent the weekend wif him at vivocity on sunday…

wat a way to start off the new year… with loads of sales, promotions happening in singapore (POST XMAS SALE! NEW YEAR SALE!!) its kinda hard not to walk away without buying anything…

and so i did… mostly under the umbrella of ‘it’s all for chinese new year!’ hahaha… went to a few places but pull and bear was THE place for me over the weekend coz i got a pair of jeans, a top and a jacket from there… zara wasn’t that good this time round.. their collection on sale is from autumn winter which isn’t very ‘buy-able’… but i managed to get a fantastic bargain when i went to the liat tower’s branch… a pair of indian-ish slippers for $15!! yes!! hahahaha

a new addition to my tokidoki collection… introducing sabochan frm his catus friends collection… managed to find her at the wheelock place toyshop… and SANDy as well.. but decided against buying two and bought sabochan instead… i like her ‘attitude’ look… ;) will post more images of her out of the box by next week.

what a big hole all these has burnt into my pocket!! =P

finally!!! i must announce that i’ve bought MOZZARELLA from tokidoki!! *beams* short story of mozzarella… she’s the leader of the moofia who’s main mission in life is to extort milk frm evil bullies’ lunchboxes and give them to good kids around the world… so if u’re a evil bully… watch out!!! mozzarella will be after u…

been a bit behind time on updating the recent events in my life and my extravagent spending retail habits… even before the last post where i made stuffed mushrooms (my cookbook turned out pretty well btw.. i was very pleased… hehehe) which i can only recall when i look at the photos taken in my phone camera (which i JUZ uploaded into my PC at home… so still gotta wait till i upload them to flickr and blog them..)

meantime… there will be a mozza plushie and the entire gang of moofia (damn cute milk packets and milk bottles wif cow horns…) to be released soon… sigh my wallet will be assaulted! gah…

my latest addition to my trexi collection… hehehehe… its part of the trexi/coca-cola collaboration for the world cup… this particular design is done by jon burgerman… initially i wasn’t really attracted to it.. but after staring at it for a while (at the store) i kinda like the quirky drawings on the trexi… plus the colour scheme made it feel fun and cheery… hahaha so i bot it in the end… ;)

and this is another trexi that i got… its the small trexi that’s inside the ten-inch one.. designed by tokidoki… he’s an italian designer who’s very taken in by the japanese culture and design and it is very reflected in his work wif cutesy yet mature looking designs.. hehehehe
