my friend just sent me this link to a list of moral dilemma questions… i’ve read through some of them and it’s not that hard to answer some of the questions (not as morally tough as i would believe) but it does give you food for thought… here’s a couple to start you off with…

Q: You discover your partner is having an affair. Would you be more or less hurt to discover their affair was with a member of the same sex?

Q: How much money, if indeed you have a price, would you need to be paid to sleep with person who hadn’t showered or washed for a month?

Q: Amongst your friends, family and colleagues, who would be the most likely to appear in an ‘adult-themed’ movie?

Q: You are given the opportunity to discover the exact date you will die. Would you want to know?

Q: Which would you prefer, to be 100% emotionally content or 100% financially content for the rest of your life?

Q: Which of the following powers would you most like to possess? The power to become invisible, the ability to read minds or x-ray vision?

Q: Your partner is offered $100,000 to be photographed nude and the pictures published in a magazine. What would your reaction be?

Q: You win a prize in a competition of two-weeks holiday every year for the next 20 years. The only catch is that it has to be the same town or city every year. Where would you take your holiday?

Q: You can be reincarnated as any living creature except as a human. What would you like to be reincarnated as and why?

Q: You have to make one species of animal extinct. Excluding insects, which species would you make extinct?

Q: If you could change your life, would you rather be a film star, a rock star, a famous sports person or prefer to just remain yourself?

Q: If you could spend one week in any period of history, which period would you choose?

also check out this hilarious clip of the five stages of grief/death.. watever… featuring a giraffe stuck in quicksand!! ahahhahahahahahahaha

p.s. okies just found this great para about love whilst googling stuff… just gotta share it here…

Real, deep, solid love is different. It is the decision to want the best for someone and to make this person happy. The feelings are different to the feelings of falling in love, and you don’t always feel anything. But the cheerful feelings will come back again. This is not always the case with the feelings of falling in love. This feelings you will only have a few month or maybe a year or two. The disappear and they will not come back in the same form.

To make the decision to love someone really and deeply, you must know this person personally. This takes some time and can not happen in a few weeks or month. (Thats why I think its not a good idea to get married too soon!). But it is not enough to know the other person, you also must know yourself very well to see if the other person could be in line with you. For this one needs to be obtain a certain age and maturity. Nobody is perfect so one also needs to know the one’s and the others quirks and to accept them. If you truly love someone then you respect this person for who he or she is. You love the person itselfe and not the great dream of it. And you don’t want to change the person, but accept every bit of it. You don’t have to agree with everything, but you can life with it. Misunderstandings are allowed and you may have some arguments, and even then you love the other person wholly. You can talk about everything and share your innermost thoughts and worries and there is a mutual understanding (or at least you try to understand the reverse side and accept it). Everyone can really trust the other one. Noone needs to wear a mask. Both parts can be their selfes and don’t need to dissimulate.

been wanting to blog this for a while.. juz hvn’t found the motivation to do it… ahhaha

this was taken at breadtalk in city link… u know they have the open view section where u can see all the breads being prepared? well i was waiting for my friend there when i notice this pretty disturbing ‘thing’…

lady baker was cutting the breads at the side (big machine wif many loaves of bread waiting… almost all covered)… on the other end of the table.. was this tray of glistening breads waiting to be cut or packed… and it wasn’t covered… which is fine until u realise that there are FLIES around the place.. and up to three of them were sucking (yeah they suck…) on the surface of the uncovered breads…

i had to resist yelling ‘FLY!!!!!’ when i saw the first of them landing on the bread and moving around slurping up all the goodness on it… i know that there’s always flies whenever there’s food… but i reckoned if you have an ‘open’ kitchen.. the least you could do was to cover the food and not let potential customers look at flies hving a nice time on the breads that they could be buying!

i was totally grossed out (yah lah i’m one of those city people…) not becoz of the flies on food (i understand it happens elsewhere too..) but by the fact that they had trays of breads (the ones waiting to be cut) that were covered and this particular one was just left open… i’m sure the staff knew that there were flies……….. right? can’t they juz cover everything? sigh…

the saga continues… this time round they weren’t at fault…

after being grossed out.. i was still attracted to the idea of ‘pork floss mooncake’ to go and take a look (free sample also helped… ;P)

so i was mulling around the mooncake counter thingy.. and this chinese lady was in front of me.. blocking the entire counter trying out the samples… nevermind.. i patiently waited my turn..

the sales person den came up to both of us wif the usual ‘how can i help u’… the lady in front of me behaved like she was caught stealing samples… hand poised above the samples somemore… until her friend came and loudly said ‘come and help me pick bread!’

AND THEN……… she threw the toothpick she was eating BACK INTO THE SAMPLES!!!! (insert super shocked look) like natural reaction lor… i was juz staring at the toothpick in the samples until the salesperson (apologetically) removed the toothpick… i wanted to like glare at the lady lor… grrrr…

dunno whether to go breadtalk in the future like tt.. ahhahaha… =P

there are weird packaging.. and there are weird products that seem to have not much of a use (or a funny purpose)…

this particular product is a good example…

wat in goodness gracious me is that?! specs wif holes?? supposedly helpful to short-sighted blah blah people? well i tried it on (it came in different sizes and designs and i chose the most ugly one.. ahahha) and i have no idea how it’ll help improve my eyesight… simply becoz:

1. spent too much effort tilting head to focus on an object through the mini holes…
2. holes were too many… had double vision of objects…
3. eyes were too stressed out coz dunno where to look thru and dunno how to look…

perhaps that’s why they threw in a ‘how to use their product to achieve the results’ class? and this isn’t some cheapo product okay.. it was sold at guardian for almost 40bucks! the only thing i liked abt it was the finishing.. it was a nice matt feel to the frame and the ‘lens’…

do let me know if you have this specs and it did work for u… i’m still wif the view tt if u wanna make ur eyes better den wear contacts.. however i’m not too sure how accurate that bit of info is!

its actually a brand of breakfast cereals that’s targeted for children.. so there’s the baby panda, baby koala and a baby leopard… wait a minute!! baby leopard?! do leopards eat plants? i dun think there’s any meat in this ‘low-fat’ cereal bar.. so why a leopard??

my friend and i observed tt for the other baby animals, they were lookin at the tiny bit of the bar at the right hand side.. but look carefully at the baby leopard… dun u think he’s looking at the PERSON holding the bar instead? (we assume tt there must be someone holding the bar for the photography… ahahha) it’s like ‘grrrrrr yummy human hand… grrr…’

juz tot i’ll share the news that YES.. sheep have friends… and they get depressed and cranky and horny too… lol

actually that website… the register.. is also filled wif many nonsensical information… ahahha potentially inspiring and interesting stories for those boring work/study days… ;)

i’m a trolley… my daily routine includes being pushed up and down asisles at supermarkets… or being herded around into rows… my greatest joy in life is to be filled up to the brim… yummy

life used to be so easy for me… i could be brought to places that i’ve never seen before… into elevators, fields, dark corners or simply used as a ski/sleigh… we were revolutionaries, we had wheels!

that’s until people got smart and decided to chain us all up… now we are stuck together… yanked by that tiny puny chain with the slot for the golden coin (nope not golden ticket… golden coin)

i dun like being chained up… we have gangs u know… some of us dun really like other groups.. and woe betide u if u were unfortunately chained up wif a rival trolley gang… they can push u ard but u can’t do anything abt it…

its such a stressful world for a trolley like me… =P
